Jackson was very traumatized by the long car ride and the new situation.
It took me a while to get him out of the car and into the house. Once in the house he got on the couch and would not
leave it. I had to feed him on the couch and drag him out to go potty.

After a while he learned that long walks in Brookfield can be a fun
thing and he was very willing to get in and out of the car.

In the same month that I got Jackson, the New Hartford Town
Park opened their new dog run. While many Dobermans can be iffy around groups of dogs, Jackson loved the dog
park. He would play with any dog who would play back. I even have seen him go up to dogs that were bulling other
dogs and get between them and pull the bully off to play.
